On 25 May, the Organizing Committee of the National Conference - Paths to Peace and Development (OCNC) presented to parliament its final report based on consultations conducted from 2007 to 2017. The report "In the Name of Peace" recommends reforms and different models of reconciliation. Welcoming the report, ANP Chair, Cipriano Cassama said that if its recommendations were implemented new era of peace opens for Guinean society.

UNIOGBIS is promoting a series of seminars on military leadership in Guinea-Bissau. The first event was held on 9 and 10 May 2018, in the Armed Forces club in Bissau.
