UNMISS peacekeepers donating blackboards and other stationery items to students and teachers of a school in Gumuruk, Jonglei State. On the eve of International Literacy Day, which is commemorated on 8 September, peacekeepers from the Indian Battalion 2 met with the administrator of Gumuruk payam, four school teachers and some of the approximately 500 students who have enrolled in the school.
