South Sudanese government representatives as well as national and international mine action partners rolling up their pants' legs in Juba during the 2013 "Lend Your Leg" campaign to demonstrate solidarity with landmine victims. The campaign was organized to commemorate International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action on 4 April. The Day underscores efforts made to eliminate the threat of landmines and explosive remnants of war. This year, unexploded devices have killed nine people, including four children, in South Sudan.
