24 Feb 2016 - The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit Juba, South Sudan tomorrow, Thursday 25 February 2016.The Head of the UN will meet with the President of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit.He will further hold discussions with the protection of civilians’ site representatives to seek their views first hand. He will also meet with the NGOs in charge of managing the site.

21 Jan 2016 - JUBA/GENEVA (21 January 2016) –Widespread human rights violations and abuses have been committed in South Sudan by all parties to the conflict since December 2013, including hundreds of extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances, sexual violence, forced recruitment and indiscriminate attacks against civilians, according to a UN report published today.
