Patients and health workers in South Sudan’s Upper Nile state have a reason to smile despite the gloomy weather brought on by the heavy rainy season.

A day-long forum, organized by the UNMISS Gender Unit in partnership with the state ministry for Gender, Children and Social Welfare in Yambio, Western Equatoria, drew some 50 participants from civil society organisations, faith-based groups, local politicians and community members.
