UPPER NILE - The town of Renk, in northern Upper Nile, was a bustling hub for trade between Sudan and South Sudan. But, today, the traffic is mostly people, and it’s all one way.

CENTRAL EQUATORIA – Inspiring youth innovators illustrated the power of technology to tackle South Sudan’s most pressing challenges at an event to celebrate International Youth Day in Juba.
Captain Prarthana Bhujel and her fellow Nepalese peacekeepers have been awarded the prestigious United Nations medal for their service and sacrifice in Lakes State, South Sudan. The troops have helped to protect civilians, build and repair critical infrastructure, and support reconciliation and peacebuilding among communities in conflict. Capt.
