18 November 2014 - The United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) today contributed £1.6 million to for expansion of the UNMISS protection site in the Upper Nile state capital Malakal.

18 November 2014- The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) has begun relocating nearly 15,000 South Sudanese refugees who had been stranded for a few months at a way station in western Ethiopia after the refugee camp where they were due to live was flooded, the agency said in a statement today.

16 November 2014 - Aiming to find peaceful solutions to recent skirmishes at the UNMISS protection site in the Upper Nile State capital Malakal, Deputy State Governor Dau Awer Agany visited the mission’s base.
