UN peacekeepers organized fun-day for displaced children in Bentiu
Peacekeepers from Ghana have organized a “fun-day” for displaced children in a protection site in Bentiu in northern South Sudan. Various games and a dance competition was part of the programme, which was thoroughly enjoyed by almost a thousand children.

UN peacekeepers have rebuilt the Akoka Bridge in the Upper Nile region, making it possible for local communities to reach Malakal with ease.
Some 2,000 residents of the township of Akoka are jubilant: Indian peacekeepers serving the United Nations Mission in South Sudan have rebuilt the bridge which connects them with the state capital Malakal.
