KUAJOK - As South Sudan edges closer to its first democratic elections, a quiet but significant shift is taking place within the country’s security sector.

In Kuajok, Warrap State, South Sudan National Police Service (SSNPS), civil society organizations, and the State High Elections Committee came together for an UNMISS UNPOL facilitated workshop on electoral security.


To address growing security concerns among displaced families living in camps in Juba, UNMISS hosted a forum to build trust and strengthen the fragile relationship between residents and national security services.
