JONGLEI – Community confidence in in Gadiang, located within Duk county in South Sudan’s Jonglei state has received a boost, thanks to a new police station funded by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

CENTRAL EQUATORIA - A race against time has begun in the world’s newest nation, South Sudan, as it looks toward completing its democratic transition by holding free, fair, and credible elections in December 2024.
UNMISS peacekeepers often go beyond the UN Peacekeeping mission's mandate to support local communities.
