UNPOL officers serving with UNMISS, in partnership with administrators from Western Equatoria's prisons system, held a two-day workshop for prison officials on upholding human rights of inmates as well as gender sensitivity. The main aim: To ensure offenders can serve out their sentences in a humane environment as the first step towards their eventual reintegration as productive members of society.
