21 November 2011 - With no banking facilities in Central Equatoria State's Kajo-Keji County, the value of the South Sudanese Pound (SSP) against the Uganda shilling has dropped sharply and dollars are hard to find.
18 November 2011 – Assessing the security situation following recent airstrikes by Sudanese forces and rebel militia group attacks in South Sudanese border areas, UNMISS Force Commander Maj. Gen. Moses Bisong Obi completed a two-day visit today to the Upper Nile State capital of Malakal.
18 November 2011 – A four-day governors' forum that concluded today in the South Sudanese capital of Juba ranked security and decentralized governance high on its list of recommendations.

15 November 2011- To assess what activities UNMISS might perform in Kajo-Keji County, Central Equatoria State, a 17-member mission team headed by State Coordinator Hendrik Bruyn visited the area from 14 to 15 November.
16 November 2011 – As Misseriya nomads prepare to cross the Sudan/South Sudan border seeking grazing land during the dry season, a three-day conference began today in Abiemnon, Unity State, to boost relations among border communities.
4 November, 2011 – In raising awareness of human rights violations and illegal crimes in communities, UNMISS completed a workshop today in Kit, Central Equatoria State.
15 November 2011 – Some 53 child soldiers between the ages of 13 and 17 were released from the South Sudanese military today in the Unity State capital of Bentiu.
13 November 2011 - An increasing number of refugees and displaced people in Maban County, Upper Nile State, was severely straining local resources, its commissioner told a UN assessment mission visiting the capital Bunj today.
