UNMISS peacekeepers united with local authorities, lecturers and students to clean-up the university in Wau, promoting a cleaner and safer environment for learning as well as building community togetherness and pride.
UNMISS peacekeepers and community members in Yambio launched a collective clean-up campaign, removing a mountain of garbage from the central city, that was not only threatening the environment but also the health and wellbeing of residents.
Community members gather in the small village of Kuajiena to discuss peace, security and justice during an open dialogue focused on accountability through the military court system, facilitated by UNMISS and supported by the Government of Norway. Photos by Busang Davies Maruping/UNMISS
