REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI)

Provision of Hiring Services of Self-Propelled Vessel or Barge with Pusher for Transportation and Accommodation facilities to UNMISS Troops in South Sudan

Closing Date for Receipt of EOI:  17 June 2024

General Description of the Requirement:

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) hereby solicits Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and competent Companies who have required resources for hiring of self-propelled vessel or a barge with pusher for provision of transportation, accommodation and related facilities to BANFMU troops in support of Operation Lifeline (OLL) from Mangala Port to Jetty Malakal, South Sudan. UNMISS intends to establish a contract with selected vendor for initial period of one (1) year with option to extend for another two (2) years (one (1) year at a time).

Conditions:

1. Interested companies are invited to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) by e-mail as indicated below. The EOI must include, as a minimum, the following information:

• United Nations Global Market (UNGM) and Registration Number for supply of UNSPSC Code number 25111507, 78101703 and 78142000.
• Company’s contact details (address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail, etc.).

Important Notice:

1. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNMISS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REOI and/or solicitation process.  Thus, submitting a response to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.

1. UNMISS also reserves the right to send the Solicitation Documents to companies who were identified through additional market research or other means to source the UN requirements.

1. Vendors interested in fulfilling the requirement described above must be registered with UNGM and those not registered may wish to visit www.ungm.org for full registration information in order to be eligible to participate in any solicitation.

1. Vendors already registered at the UNGM basic level and level 1 are strongly advised to upgrade to level 2.  

1. Women owned business and business owned by people with disability are encouraged to participate.

1. Local and Regional companies are encouraged to participate.

1.
