Chinese peacekeepers have successfully cleared the main route into one of South Sudan’s more remote and dangerous regions by rescuing several stranded trucks which had blocked access for motorists and the supply of goods to isolated communities.

United Kingdom engineers have held a special service in South Sudan to mark Remembrance Day, honouring and remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in conflicts past and present.

More than 1000 Indian peacekeepers have been awarded the United Nations medal for their dedicated service and sacrifice in the conflict-ridden country of South Sudan.
