UN donates essential non-food items to Malakal prisoners
The United Nations Mission in South Sudan in cooperation with the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, have donated blankets, mosquito nets and other essential non-food supplies to inmates of the county prison in Malakal in the Upper Nile region.

UN peacekeepers organized fun-day for displaced children in Bentiu
Peacekeepers from Ghana have organized a “fun-day” for displaced children in a protection site in Bentiu in northern South Sudan. Various games and a dance competition was part of the programme, which was thoroughly enjoyed by almost a thousand children.
UNMISS and the Inter-State Coordinating Committee organized a forum on cattle migration to reduce tensions between farmers and pastoralists on 10 January 2018.
