25 November 2013 - Seeking to raise awareness and end the continuing scourge, several South Sudanese states marked International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women with speeches, parades and dramas.

South Sudanese uniformed forces marking weapons during 10-day training conducted by UNMISS Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration section, which began in Juba 18 November. The activity seeks to assist the forces in recording and tracking small arms in South Sudan.
