Indian peacekeepers have today provided lifesaving medical assistance to a woman who collapsed near a UN base at Melut in the Upper Nile region of South Sudan.

The Deputy Governor of Jubek is urging humanitarian and development partners to work closely with the Government and local authorities to help South Sudanese communities become self-sufficient.

Ghanaian peacekeepers are providing hands-on support and training for cattle farmers across the Unity region to help them get through the rainy season and become self-sufficient in the long-term.
