22 January 2014 - An emergency regional summit planned for Thursday in Juba as part of efforts to seek a peaceful solution to the South Sudan conflict has been cancelled, UN Radio Miraya reported today.

21 January 2014 - Responding to vital humanitarian needs in South Sudan, the first of two UNICEF chartered planes arrived in Juba today, loaded with supplies for women and children across the country.
20 January 2014 - At least 32 civilians and two UN contractors seeking shelter at the UN base in Malakal, Upper Nile State, were injured today when bullets from nearby fighting landed inside.
