A two-day workshop on peaceful co-existence and sustainable livelihood was organized by the UNMISS, the UNDP and Rumbek University. The aim of the workshop was to mobilize state and non-state actors into the development of alternative and additional livelihoods.

The UNMISS Public Information Section organized a two-day workshop with faith based groups to create awareness of the role of UNMISS. The workshop was held in the Nyakuron cultural center, in Juba.

In order to enhance rule of law and good governance, the Civil Affairs Division (CAD) of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan engaged Members of Parliament of the newly created Gok state on the conduct of legislative business.
