28 December 2012 - Boosting the mission's ability to airlift personnel and supplies in South Sudan, 120 Rwandan aviation troops arrived today to join UNMISS in the capital Juba.
Demobilized children can be found in all 10 states of South Sudan. Many are attending high school or receiving training in practical vocational skills. Several are now adults with successful professional careers.

19 December 2012 - A strong police force was essential in a new country like South Sudan, but it must have good managers to be effective, a top UN official in the country said today at Rajaf Police Training School in Juba.
