The United Nations Mission in South Sudan handed over a four-classroom block constructed at Sunrise Nursery and Primary School to the community of Naagori in Yambio County.

Bentiu hospital has received a new water system from UN Childrens’ Organsation UNICEF. The water pump produces 162-thousand litres of water a day, serving the hospital’s wards and outpatient facility. The water system in Bentiu Referral Hospital was damaged and looted during the conflict.

UNMISS DSRSG visits Wau to assess current situation
A UN delegation led by Mr. Eugune Owusu, the UNMISS DSRSG, visited Wau to assess the current situation. The recent fighting in the town led to civilian causalities, property damage as well as displacement of citizens.
