Turkish government renovates police computer lab

29 October 2013 - Celebrating the opening of a computer lab that was newly renovated by the Turkish government at the Rajaf South Sudan National Police (SSNPS) Training Centre near Juba, an inauguration ceremony was held at the facility today.

For a total cost of about $130,000, the renovation included the roof, ceiling, grounds, walls and paintjob. The Turkish government also provided a generator, 32 desks, chairs and tables.

Attending the ceremony were Turkish Ambassador to South Sudan Ahmet Ergin, South Sudanese Deputy Minister of Interior Jadalla Augustino Wani, SSNPS Deputy Inspector General Lieutenant General Andrew Koul and UNMISS Police Commissioner Fred Yiga.
