IndBatt trains nursing students in Malakal

A member of the UNMISS Indian Battalion medical corps training nursing students at Upper Nile University, Malakal. Twenty-six students enrolled in a four-year degree course at the university are benefitting from the expertise and experience of the Indian contingent's medical professionals. According to the World Health Organisation, South Sudan faces a severe shortage of trained health care professionals, with around 48 nurses per 39,088 people. Photo: UNMISS / UNMISS Military.
