The ongoing conflict in South Sudan is affecting food security in some of the country’s more “stable states,” the head of UN peacekeeping in South Sudan, UNMISS, has said.

Bor, 15 March 2017: South Korean peacekeepers have completed repairing the Bor - Mangala road stretch. The 125km road is a major road stretch, linking Greater Equatoria region with Jonglei State. 

Malakal, 14 March 2017 – The African Union high representative for South Sudan, Alpha Oumar Konaré, has applauded the United National Mission in South Sudan for its role in protecting civilians sheltered at its base in Malakal.
