31 March 2013 – A fire broke out in Rumbek Market today, destroying property worth an estimated 200,000 Sudanese pounds before UNMISS brought it under control.
The cause of the blaze is still unclear, although witnesses told UN Radio Miraya it had begun at a market welding site.
