4 March 2013 - Speaking during the opening of the South Sudan National Police Service's (SSNPS) sixth conference today in Juba, UNMISS Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General Raisedon Zenenga stressed that the mission would assist the government to protect citizens and improve security in the country. The conference aims to measure SSNPS progress since the first such gathering in 2006 and focus on future needs.
