In South Sudan, years of conflict have subjected women to unspeakable atrocities. Yet they carry on, sometimes with the support of the UN family and other humanitarian actors.


The number of displaced persons staying at the UN protection size has decreased significantly, from a high of 39,000 to approximately 25,000.


Cattle are precious possessions and commodities in South Sudan, but their seasonal migrations sometimes lead to violent clashes between farmers and cattle keepers.
